Youth Theatre Project Casting 1st September
‘The Cyclops, a story for South Brent’ will be the SBADS Youth Theatre’s 35-minute play, to be performed on Saturday 11th October.
All 11 to 18 year olds who are interested in taking part are asked to attend a first rehearsal at 6pm on Monday, 1st September at South Brent Village Hall for casting: if you can’t be there, please e-mail info@sbads.show to express your interest.

Audition on 20 July: “The Ghost Train”
We are delighted to announce open auditions for “The Ghost Train” on Sunday, 20 July from 6pm to 9pm at South Brent Village Hall.
Updated policies
We’ve updated a number of SBADS policies, particularly our policies relating to Child and Young People Safeguarding.
Midsummer Fun Week
Everyone’s invited to a week of fun events for all the family! SBADS is working with people and groups from across the village to celebrate our 100th year with the whole of South Brent.
Clearer on-line prices
We’re now showing a higher ‘on-line’ price, but our prices haven’t changed: it’s the ticket price including the on-line booking fee.
Change of dates
Our production of ‘The Ghost Train’ will now be performed from 20 – 22 November 2025, a week later than stated in the panto programme.
Auditions 9th February – “A Bunch of Amateurs”
SBADS centenary celebrations continue with our next production: we thought that ‘A Bunch of Amateurs’ could not be more appropriate. The comedy by Ian Hislop & Nick Newman will be directed by Robin Willoughby.
Panto Auditions
Come along to our auditions on Sunday 7th July at South Brent Village Hall for “Cinderella” . All welcome with no experience needed, Juniors from 2.30pm, Adults from 5pm. You know you want to – oh, yes you do!
