Opening night for our “Bunch of Amateurs”

The actors are ready, the stage is set: if there was a curtain to open, our Bunch of Amateurs would be ready to open it on the first night of our comedy production.

After months of rehearsals and weeks of stage preparation, we’re all set to bring laughter to the Village Hall stage in “A Bunch of Amateurs” by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman. It’s a very funny play that captures the highs and lows of amateur dramatics – so what could be more appropriate in our 100th year?

There are still tickets available for all performances, and they’ll be on sale on-line until about three hours before each show and then ‘on the door’ at the Village Hall.

If you’re planning a barbecue on Saturday, or will be glued to Eurovision, come to the matinee!
