Auditions – ‘Open Air’ – 28 September

We are looking for a around eight actors to create a SBADS ‘radio company’ for a special evening celebrating drama on the radio, to be directed by Tim McGill.

This 13 and 14 November, SBADS will be presenting our audience with an evening of radio plays from the stage as if live from the studio. Be prepared for action, adventure, comedy and drama, multiple roles, accents and diverse characters.

We need a company of around eight men and women to present a selection of pieces written for, and celebrating, radio. It will be presented ‘text in hand’ as it would be in a radio studio and fully rehearsed and presented as if the audience is witnessing a radio broadcast from the point of view of a studio audience.

We are finalising the selection of pieces and will have a first read through on Monday, 28 September (venue to be confirmed).

It’s going to be a lot of fun.
