In rehearsal: The Shakespeare Conspiracy

Our next show will be “The Shakespeare Conspiracy” from 11 to 13 June. It’s a fast-paced, epic and passionate adventure in a world where Shakespeare’s heroes and villains are written as large as any Superhero with an origin story to match.

Andrew Shepherd’s play is a most epic, romantic tragic comedy in a world where Shakespeare’s heroes and villains have been waging a secret war, after being inexplicably being brought to life over 400 years ago. Set in the modern day somewhere on the border of reality and fiction, conflict rages between the greatest heroes and most terrible villains ever written, fighting for control of Shakespeare’s legacy and existence itself.

Featuring a cast of ‘only’ 16 actors, the show has begun rehearsals under the direction of Tim McGill, and promises to be a treat for the audience.

“The Shakespeare Conspiracy” will be presented at South Brent Village Hall on Thursday, 11 June at 7.3pm, Friday 12 June at 7.30pm, Saturday 13 June at 2.30pm and Saturday 13 June at 7.30pm.

We’ll be posting more details of the show and how to book soon.
