Clearer on-line prices

We’re now showing a higher ‘on-line’ price, but our prices haven’t changed:  it’s the ticket price including the on-line booking fee.

Our ticket provider, Seaty, has charged a small fee for every ticket we sell on-line through them for many years (it’s currently 7.2%), and we’ve pointed out that there’s a booking fee on our posters, this website and the ticketing site. From 6th April this year, it’s been the law that we have to show you the total price including any fees that can be easily calculated, so we’ve changed the way we display prices.

You’ll now see two prices on our publicity materials including this website: a price from our box office at the Village Shop, where there’s no booking fee; and a price for tickets bought on-line, which includes the 7.2% fee charged by Seaty.

Price display changes from £10 + 72p fee to £10.72

We used to show a base price and separate on-line fee, now we show a separate online price including the fee.

If you book on-line, you’ll see only the combined price including Seaty’s fees when you start your booking.

Excluding the booking fee, our ticket prices have gone up just £2 since 2014, and we hope that you will agree that they still represent excellent value for money.
